Bar Keeper’s Friend Named Australia’s Most Loved BBQ Cleaner Brand by you!

Bar Keeper’s Friend won 4 awards this year in Finder’s Customer Satisfaction Awards in 2026!

Bar Keeper’s Friend has taken out four category wins at the 2026 Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards, cementing its place as the BBQ cleaner brand Australians trust most.

What is the Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards?

Now in its sixth year, the Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards is one of Australia’s largest independent consumer research programs, surveying tens of thousands of Australians every year about the brands and products they actually use. This year’s program polled over 50,000 Australians, asking them to rate the brands they use across categories like trust, service, value, and overall satisfaction.

What sets the Finder Awards apart is that they’re not pay-to-play, brands can’t buy their way onto the list, and there’s only ever one official winner per category. That independence matters: Finder’s own research shows that 79% of Australians trust unpaid awards more than sponsored or paid recognition, making the badge a genuine, third-party seal of approval rather than another marketing claim.

Bar Keeper’s Friend was voted:

  • 🏆 Most Loved BBQ Cleaner Brand
  • 🏆 Top Value BBQ Cleaner Brand
  • 🏆 Top Performing BBQ Cleaner Brand
  • 🏆 Most Recommended BBQ Cleaner Brand

Awards like this aren’t just nice badges but they’re a signal to shoppers just like you navigating a full cleaning aisle of products to choose from. With Aussies increasingly sceptical of paid endorsements, an unpaid independently verified award carries real weight in the decision-making process. The proof is here voted by real Australians like you!

How to Clean your BBQ using BKF’s Cleanser & Powder.

In many backyards, barbecue season is never-ending. If you use your grill a lot, then deep cleaning is essential. A great BBQ begins with removing that sticky build-up on grates that can cause food to cook unevenly and then cleaning the exterior to remove flash rust spots and grime. Deep-cleaning your grill isn’t only about cooking. It’s about upkeep. If you want your grill to operate at its best and last as long as it should (or longer), it’s critical to keep it sparkling clean. Food and carbon allowed to build up on your grill can and will eventually damage it, leading to its failure. Grills have become quite an investment.

To deep-clean your grill, you’ll need:

  • A grill brush or nylon brush or scrub pad
  • Household gloves
  • Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser & Powder
  1. Once the BBQ is cooled and safe to touch, gently moisten the surface with water. Do not soak it completely, just enough for the powder is able to become a paste that is tacky enough to stick onto the grill surface
  2. Take your brush or scrub pad and work the powder through the worst of the stains and grime
  3. Rinse thoroughly before checking for any missed spots before adding any more BKF.
  4. Review the cleanliness and repeat earlier steps if necessary for hard stains.
  5. If it is your first time using BKF on this BBQ, test a small surface area first.
  6. Always rinse thoroughly when using BKF and allow to air dry before next use.
  7. Optional: Spray and wipe down stainless steel with BKF’s Stainless Steel Cleaner (Winner of Finder’s 2025 Customer Satisfaction award for Best Stainless Steel Cleaner).
